Fun & Unassuming is a full-service production company. Owner Chris Bone produces, shoots and edits a variety of commercial, documentary and narrative work, both video and photography. Most recently, he received honorable mention at the 2018 Slamdance Film Festival for his short documentary The Last Man You Meet, which has also appeared in numerous festivals.
After four years as a crime and courts newspaper reporter in California, Chris moved to Atlanta in 2009 and then spent 3.5 years filming and editing “Scarred but Smarter,” a documentary directed by Eric Von Haessler that centers around the band Drivin n Cryin. After the movie premiered at the 2013 Atlanta Film Festival, he landed a job at an agency, where he learned a great deal about client relationships. A couple years later he decided to break out on his own again and really began developing Fun & Unassuming.
Since then, Fun & Unassuming has forged relationships with various agencies and directly with businesses that need production work. Chris’ wide range of professional experience and his tireless attention to detail keep clients coming back. He believes that showing up on time, listening and doing what you say you’re going to do are just as important as knowing how to operate a camera and edit well.
